StylPro - Make up Brush Cleaner

Hi all, Im back again with another review.

This was a gift I received for Christmas, even though I had wanted one for ages I still didn't want to fork out €60+ for it, but since its a gift I get to try it and not feel guilty lol. And after reading some good reviews about this I really wanted one as I HATE washing my brushes!

So when you open the box you get the brush holders, the jar and the motorised hand held cleaner (solution comes separate). This machine can be used with just ordinary soap but I would definitely recommend purchasing the solution. Each time you use it you add just a cap full of solution to the jar (so a bottle should last ages).

You start by dipping your brush into the solution and already straight away you can see the make up coming off the brushes (amazing), you spin your brush for 10 seconds in the solution, then hold your brush just above the solution and spin it for 5 seconds at a time to dry them. I was amazed as all my brushes were bone dry within 5/10 seconds depending on the size of the brush.

I was skeptical about this as I thought it was too good to be true, or only worked on tiny brushes but I am impressed. It makes washing all those brushes so easy and takes a fraction of the time it does to wash them in the sink, and the best thing is you can use your brushes straight away.

If you use a lot of make up brushes or just a few that you refuse to wash (like me) this thing is amazing, and makes the weekly brush wash more enjoyable.
They can be purchased online from the Meaghers Pharmacy or from Sam Mccauleys. I purchased my solution from Meaghers.

StylPro - €65
Solution -  €14.95

L'Oréal Pure Clay Masks

Hi all and Happy New Year.

I'm back with something that is perfect for the New Year when we want to detox our skin from all the food and drink we've had over Christmas. I have been using these masks now for a couple of weeks and I am really impressed by them. They contain 3 Pure Clays, Koalin - a highly effective natural clay known to absorb impurities and excess sebum. Montmorillonite - Rich in minerals, a clay recognised for helping to eliminate imperfections. Ghassoul - A pure clay highly concentrated in minerals renowned to help clarify complexion.

Kardashian Beauty - Just A Name?

Hi all and happy Friday!

So we all know the Kardashians and we all know their make up line was a complete flop but have they got it right with their hair care products? I recently purchased their Dry Conditioner, their Black Seed Dry Oil and their Curl-Defining Cream-Gel, and I have been pleasently surprised.

I have really dry hair and I thought a dry conditioner was genius so of course that was my first purchase. Along with topping up between washes with dry shampoo I now spray this conditioner onto my ends and it leaves them looking so shiny and keeps any of the dry spilt ends at bay, this is now one of my must have hair care products.

My next purchase was the Black Seed Dry Oil, I only purchased the small bottle of this which is only 15ml simply because I wanted to try it. For my natural wavy hair this works wonders, it really tames the waves and makes them less frizzy. This is a good oil but along with the conditioner I am not sure if I would repurchase, I am definitely a dry conditioner fan.

Out of sheer curiosity I got the Curl-Defining Cream-Gel after reading a good review about it, this I not completely sold on yet however I have only used it once. As I said I would have natural wavy hair that has lost its way after too much damage from heat styling, I thought if this can give me my curls back they are complete geniuses. However sadly it couldn't and like most other curling gels, mousses and creams I woke up the next day looking like I had been electrocuted. Regardless of that I have read great reviews about it and am convinced there is noting on this planet that can tame my ''curls''.

Next on my list to get is their dry shampoo, I have always used Batista and we all know about the white residue it leaves, well my Mam has used The Kardashian Dry Shampoo and it doesn't leave any residue, no more looking like you've aged 20 years as you run out the door late for work.

All in all I am loving this range, I really think they got it right with all these products and the packaging? Black and Rose Gold I am all over that. I purchased all of these in store from Shaws but they can be purchased from cloud10beauty.com. They have so many products from this range you are bound to find something to suit your need, I already have my wish list of the items I want to try next.

Dry Conditioner - €13.95
Black Seed Dry Oil - small €4.95 / large €15.95
Curl Defining Cream Gel - €13.95
Dry Shampoo - €13.95

Hope you enjoy

Winter Survival - Lips

Winter is one of my favourite seasons, cosy jumpers, open fires and the excitement of Christmas! One thing I hate is the effect the weather has on my lips, they get dry and sore and just feel horrible (worse than during the warmer months) but I have found 3 products that I will not be without this winter!

1. This amazing little lip scrub I picked up in penneys for €3.50. I had never used a lip scrub before but always wanted to, before I put on my make up in the mornings I will se this on my lips if they feel a bit dry and straight away any dry chapped skin is gone! This is also great if you want to over-line your lips as it made mine look HUGE!

2. Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream. This is an old favourite of mine for treating everything from dry skin to making my eyes look more awake in the mornings! I have started applying this to my lips every night as I do find it quite sticky, which is never a good thing with long hair, and by morning my lips are soft with no dryness in sight. This cream can be purchased from Boots.ie for €35.00.

3. When I'm on the go this is my go to product because I always carry it in my bag, the Dr. Paw Paw which I could easily say is a dupe for the Elizabeth Arden cream for a fraction of the price. This works just as well, feels amazing on and isn't sticky. If I am using a matte lipstick I will always use this first to take the real dry look of the lipstick away. This little tub of magic can be got from sammcauley.com for €8.99.

So if like me you suffer from dry lips during the colder months or all year round I hope this helps!
