Lacura - Coffee Scrub

Hi Everyone,

If you follow my on Instagram (shameless plug! lol), you will know I was trying out a coffee scrub from Aldi! They really took off a couple of months back and for ages I saw so many different ones on my IG feed, but never actually got around to purchasing one. That was until I spotted one while (supposedly) doing the food shopping. Immediately drawn to the packaging!

It's from Lacura and it's a coffee scrub made from robusta coffee and the best thing about it it is vegan and paraben free, and the second best thing about it, it smells like chocolate!! (good enough to eat!). There are other scents to choose from, coconut (next on my list) and orange but they weren't available to me.

Robusta coffee, cane sugar and sea salt work to exfoliate and remove dead skin. Cocoa butter (yum) moisturises. Vitamin E aids smoothness and sweet almond and macadamia oil provides the skin with essential vitamins.

You use two handfuls of the scrub, apply it to wet skin and work in a circular motions. It can also be used on your face but be gentle. Leave it on for 5-10 minutes and then rinse off. For such a corse scrub it is amazing! My skin felt so so soft after using it, like it was wrapped in a layer of moisture. It felt super smooth as well and removed fake tan amazingly!! I actually couldn't get over how well it worked on otherwise stubborn tan.

It is definitely a product I will be adding to my (food shop) list!! I can't remember exactly how much it was, but I am pretty sure it was around €6 and it will last you ages, I still have half a bag after a month. If you have an Aldi near you pop in and see if you can find it!

I'll leave a link here just to show what it looks like.
