Bondi Sands - False Tan Eraser

Hi everybody, I hope you have all had an amazing Christmas and that 2018 will see all your dreams come true!

I took some time away from my blog to focus on being back at college but my one aim for my Christmas break is to set myself up for at least a few months blog wise!

Anyway thats enough rambling from me, when I first came across this product a  couple of things ran though my head, how come this hasn't been invented already and WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT? I could of been rich!!

Then I thought maybe it's too good to be true and maybe it's a load of s*it! Even so I was intrigued and although 1 bottle is €20 I debated for awhile about splashing out on it but curiosity got the better of me.

So basically how it works is you wear your fake tan for 2/3 days, then you apply this tan remover to dry skin and leave it for 5 minutes and then wash it off in the shower using a face cloth. Now I did exactly this and I have to say I was left very disappointed, yes it removed some tan but not all of it.

I started to wonder then was this product designed solely to work on Bondi Sands tan products, a brand of tan I have actually never used. Determined to like this product (because to be fair it's dead handy) I used it again, this time I left it on for 10/15 minutes and washed it off the same way and it worked a charm!

Now I would be lying if I said it removed 100% of my tan but it definitely removed at least 85% and removed it evenly! I had no stubborn patchy tan marks left and a good body scrub would take off the rest or I could have applied another layer of tan knowing it would come out even.

It is quite expensive and you go through the bottle quite quick, if you wear tan continuously you would fly through the bottles. I only wear tan on special occasions so I have had my bottle for ages. But like that if you do wear tan continuously it is a handy product to have because it removes tan in one easy step rather than scrubbing your skin raw.

So it does work on most brands of tan (I have used BPerfect and Catwalk), It works but takes longer than 5 minutes for decent results, it is pricey but is it worth it? Yes I think it is!

You can purchase Bondi Sands Tan Eraser here for €19.49

Thanks for reading!!

  1. I bought this as soon as it came out, but haven't had the chance to use it yet as I'm too lazy to apply fake tan. I need to try it asap to see if it works better with the Bondi Sands tan as it's my fave.

    Lots of love,
