My Thoughts - #Insta Fix & Go

Hi again,

I was pretty late jumping on the setting spray bandwagon but when I eventually did I purchased both of the NYX setting sprays, the matte one and the dewy finish. Now I love both of them, especially the matte one, so I was a bit sceptical about trying another one.

When it came to trying a different brand I went for the Rimmel #Insta Fix & Go because I am a Rimmel fan. Thoughts? It is just as good as the NYX one. No matter what foundation I use I can never find one that will stay on my nose and chin all day without a setting spray so thats what I tested with this, a full face of make up applied at 11am was almost still perfectly in-tacted 10 hours later. I had the usual fades in my make up from my sunglasses or just from rubbing my face but all in all it held up pretty good, I am definitely impressed. It dries in really quick too so its perfect if your in a hurry. It is also oil free which means it will work well with almost any foundation.

This can also be used as a primer, you just spray on and wait for it to dry and then apply your foundation, I used this once as a primer and I have to say I didn't like it, but then again I don't have many primers that I really do like. But for convenience a primer spray is amazing and I wish I did like it.

One thing I did find about this as a setting spray, as opposed to the NYX ones, was if you spray too much it does tend to make your mascara run if you close yours eyes fully, so just be careful how much you spray near your eyes and it should be perfect. I picked up mine in Boots and I think it was around €8.

Hope you enjoy,

L'oréal Fine Flowers.

Hi again,

I picked this up recently as I had just run out of my own bottle of soap and glory cream cleanser which I loved but wanted to try a different one, I came across it in Tescos and once it says new on the bottle I'm there!

The smell is amazing so fresh and does smell just like flowers. The texture is so moisturising even after using it my hands felt soft.

So its big test against a full face of Make Up and the result is pretty good. You apply it straight to your face and rub it in as you would any face wash and then rinse or remove with a face cloth. A good test for these cream cleansers is to then use a toner afterwards to see how much make up was actually removed, and after testing this one pretty much all the make up was gone. So compared to other cream cleansers I have used this is definitely my favourite one. My skin felt really soft after it and not one bit dry which is a great plus for me as I hate products that almost wash away too much. I would have quite combination skin and this works really well for me and it is also designed for sensitive skin too.

So all in all this gets a big thumbs up from me,

Camo Obsessed

So my latest obsession is Camo Print, before I even realised, I had a major collection in my wardrobe. Its such a cool way to dress up a casual outfit. And great for people who, like me, wear a lot of greys and blacks.

I picked up a hoodie / jacket in River Island and it goes perfect with jeans and trainers.

As I'm a Mammy most days I dress very casual which is either jeans and a hoodie, leggings or a tracksuit, so I just fell in love with a Camo Print hoodie from Zara, again it livens up my otherwise super plain outfit.
