Urban Decay - Naked Basics Palette

Hi again,

I treated myself to the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette for my Birthday and just fell in love. This is a palette that you could use everyday with colours that can easily take you from daytime to  nighttime. This is also a great one for people who don't want to spend crazy money on a palette that might only have 2/3 colours you would use.

The colours are all matt which is perfect for day time wear and the variety of colours is great, from pale cream and pink tones for daytime to the darker purples and greys for nighttime. The pigmentation is amazing and so easy to apply and blend. I find this great because as a Mammy I tend to wear just one colour all over my lids during the week and with this I can match to my outfit (or my mood lol)

I purchased my Palette from Debenhams for €47.

SoSu Highlighter Palette

Hi again,

I am a big SoSu fan i have tried all her products now and although I wasn't entirely impressed with her nail varnish, her make up range is spot on.

I love her contour kit so when she launched her highlighter kit I couldn't wait to get my hands on it! The packaging is amazing and the colours of the highlighters are just beautiful. And she has even added a mirror into this palette which is so handy.

I have added a photo of swatches below to show how pigmented and shimmery these highlighters are and you can use as little or as much as you want, from subtle day time shimmer to disco ball on a Friday night.

SoSu palettes can be bought in most pharmacies now or directly from for €29.95.

Happy shimmering,

StylPro - Make up Brush Cleaner

Hi all, Im back again with another review.

This was a gift I received for Christmas, even though I had wanted one for ages I still didn't want to fork out €60+ for it, but since its a gift I get to try it and not feel guilty lol. And after reading some good reviews about this I really wanted one as I HATE washing my brushes!

So when you open the box you get the brush holders, the jar and the motorised hand held cleaner (solution comes separate). This machine can be used with just ordinary soap but I would definitely recommend purchasing the solution. Each time you use it you add just a cap full of solution to the jar (so a bottle should last ages).

You start by dipping your brush into the solution and already straight away you can see the make up coming off the brushes (amazing), you spin your brush for 10 seconds in the solution, then hold your brush just above the solution and spin it for 5 seconds at a time to dry them. I was amazed as all my brushes were bone dry within 5/10 seconds depending on the size of the brush.

I was skeptical about this as I thought it was too good to be true, or only worked on tiny brushes but I am impressed. It makes washing all those brushes so easy and takes a fraction of the time it does to wash them in the sink, and the best thing is you can use your brushes straight away.

If you use a lot of make up brushes or just a few that you refuse to wash (like me) this thing is amazing, and makes the weekly brush wash more enjoyable.
They can be purchased online from the Meaghers Pharmacy or from Sam Mccauleys. I purchased my solution from Meaghers.

StylPro - €65
Solution -  €14.95
