Black Diamond - Activated Charcoal Peel Off Mask

Hi Everyone,

I think this is the first activated charcoal mask I have ever used, they have been all over social media lately, everybody who is anybody is raving about them so I went on a bit of a facemask binge on and said I had to get one to try!

The one I got was the Black Diamond peel off mask with activated charcoal. You apply it to clean skin with your fingers or a mask brush, I personally prefer to use a brush as I just find it less messy and the product goes on the skin much easier. You leave it on for 10/20 minutes until it has dried and turned tacky.

It's really comfortable on the skin, I had no irritation at all and even when it was drying it was still pleasant, just felt like a mud mask drying. Now it definitely wasn't the most pleasant of experiences removing it but it did come off quite easily then just rinse with warm water. Once it was removed I could see all the impurities on the mask that it pulled from my nose area. Anyone else suffer with those annoying little black heads on their nose? I HATE THEM but after this mask they were all gone ALL of them, amazing!!

After a few minutes my skin started to feel a bit tingly but nothing major, it felt incredibly clean and soft which was quite surprising to me as I wasn't expecting it to soften my face as well as rip out the impurities. I am very happy with the results from this so it is one I am going to keep in bathroom and use it regularly.

You get 3 masks in the pack and as I said I got mine from for around €5 but you can also purchase them on for £4.95.

Maybelline - Tattoo Brow

Hi Everybody and welcome back!

You know those products that make your life a little easier? Well this is one of them! Maybelines Tattoo Brow is one of my favourite products from this year!

Tattoo Brow is an easy to use peal off eyebrow tint that lasts for 3 days. Its so simple to use, you apply it in the brow shape that you desire (do be careful when drawing on your brows as it does tint the skin) Leave it to dry for 20 minutes and peal off, starting from your nose and pealing outwards.

It comes in a couple of different shades, light brown, medium brown and dark brown. I would have quite dark features and darkish hair and I went for the dark brown shade, even with my lighter balayage I loved it and it wasn't too dark but obviously like any tint the longer you leave it on the darker it will be.

If I recommend any product to step into 2018 with it is this! I love that I no longer have to spend ages and ages filling in my browns anymore because it was one step in my make up that I absolutely hated (with passion)!

You can buy Tattoo Brow here for €16.99

As always I love hearing others feedback and opinions so if you have tried this let me know what you thought!

Thanks so much for reading!

Bondi Sands - False Tan Eraser

Hi everybody, I hope you have all had an amazing Christmas and that 2018 will see all your dreams come true!

I took some time away from my blog to focus on being back at college but my one aim for my Christmas break is to set myself up for at least a few months blog wise!

Anyway thats enough rambling from me, when I first came across this product a  couple of things ran though my head, how come this hasn't been invented already and WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT? I could of been rich!!

Then I thought maybe it's too good to be true and maybe it's a load of s*it! Even so I was intrigued and although 1 bottle is €20 I debated for awhile about splashing out on it but curiosity got the better of me.

So basically how it works is you wear your fake tan for 2/3 days, then you apply this tan remover to dry skin and leave it for 5 minutes and then wash it off in the shower using a face cloth. Now I did exactly this and I have to say I was left very disappointed, yes it removed some tan but not all of it.

I started to wonder then was this product designed solely to work on Bondi Sands tan products, a brand of tan I have actually never used. Determined to like this product (because to be fair it's dead handy) I used it again, this time I left it on for 10/15 minutes and washed it off the same way and it worked a charm!

Now I would be lying if I said it removed 100% of my tan but it definitely removed at least 85% and removed it evenly! I had no stubborn patchy tan marks left and a good body scrub would take off the rest or I could have applied another layer of tan knowing it would come out even.

It is quite expensive and you go through the bottle quite quick, if you wear tan continuously you would fly through the bottles. I only wear tan on special occasions so I have had my bottle for ages. But like that if you do wear tan continuously it is a handy product to have because it removes tan in one easy step rather than scrubbing your skin raw.

So it does work on most brands of tan (I have used BPerfect and Catwalk), It works but takes longer than 5 minutes for decent results, it is pricey but is it worth it? Yes I think it is!

You can purchase Bondi Sands Tan Eraser here for €19.49

Holler & Glow

Hi feels like forever since I got to write here being back at college, managing my blog is way harder than I thought it would be but I am back!!

Ok so when I saw these face masks in Penneys I fell in love with the idea of them! I mean how cute would these be on a girly sleepover or weekend away or even a overnight Hen Party? The photos alone would be so worth it! Anyway they are fun, they look great and are such a good idea but onto the important skincare stuff!

You apply these sheet masks like any other, apply to clean skin and leave on for 15 minutes, once the time is up you remove any excess liquid left on the skin. Did the mask dramatically change my skin? No! Did it do much to my skin? No! To be honest it didn't even stay on my face very well. I can't really comment on any difference in my skin to be honest because I didn't see any but one thing I do love about these masks is just adding some moisture and a bit of TLC to the skin, I am a big sheet mask fan and these didn't do any harm to my skin and for €4 I think they are worth having in your bathroom incase your skin feels a bit dry especially during these colder months. But as far as skincare goes they are definitely more fun than facial.
